The Story

The first leaves of the spring season are hand-plucked in the foothills of Nepal to produce this refreshing white tea. Himalayan Spring brews up into a pale, peachy straw color, and embodies the characteristic lightness and brightness of a spring harvest white tea. This tea is smooth and buttery, with no hint of bitterness.

Cups Per Package

This luxury loose leaf tea Himalayan Tea is carefully blended and packaged by hand in a reusable tin or a resealable kraft bag. Our 2 oz. tin or kraft bag makes approximately 35–40 cups of tea. Our 4 oz. kraft bag makes approximately 70–80 cups.

Ingredients

White tea (Origin: Nepal)

Tasting Notes

Smooth, bright and buttery, with notes of pear, champagne, sweet grass, asparagus, and stone fruit.

How To Brew Himalayan Spring

Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 6 oz. water. Heat water until briskly steaming (not boiling). Steep for 3 – 4 minutes. May be infused more than once.

We recommend using a teapottea infuser, or tea filter. These brewing methods give the tea leaves enough room to expand as the tea steeps, resulting in a more flavorful cup.

Himalayan Spring Caffeine Content

Himalayan Spring is low in caffeine. Since it is composed of the first leaves and buds of the tea plant harvested in early spring, it's higher in caffeine than some other white teas.

Himalayan Spring Benefits

White tea enhances mood and helps with focus.
